Productive times! This record wasn't scheduled to come until late November, but they were early so here we go.... Brand new band from ex-Saturday Looks Good To Me star vocalist and official Swedish transplant Betty Marie Barnes and myself. Betty does all the singing, I do all the music. 10 new original songs and a Morrissey cover! Dream-like, spare, direct, strange and still catchy as hell. 180 gram vinyl, pressed on cloud-colored wax!! Sick.
I know what you're saying though... "Fuck Records! I only like tapes!" Me, too, which is why we have a special cassette version of this record up for pre-order. Side A is the eleven songs from the record pictured above, and side B is the complete recording of the band's first live set, happening in Ypsilanti on November 24th. I know, it's a great idea, right?? This edition of 70 is up for pre-order as the show hasn't happened yet, but they'll be shipped out the week after and the live set will be more than just bad-sounding versions of the same songs on the record. We got some tricks up the sleeve, up the tape deck.
